Prior to checking out, carefully read through our return policy in its entirety.              

MUMS Return Policy

We have a 14-day return policy. You have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Ensure an Easy Return:

  • No discounted or sale items.
  • No Postpartum or Personal Care Products.
  • When trying on, avoid strong odours, pet hair, and removing tags.
  • Keep items stain-free: no deodorant, makeup, food, lotions, or self-tanner.
  • Inspect and try on items within 48 hours of receipt to identify any defects early.
  • Return grace period: 14 days for refund, 15-21 days for store credit. Missing the cut-off date may lead to disappointment.

Eligibility:

  • Items must be in the same condition as received: unworn, unused, with tags, and in original packaging.
  • Proof of purchase: order number, receipt, or purchaser's name is required. REASON for return is required. 

Online Shoppers:

  1. Contact us at info@mumsmaternity.ca to start a return.
  2. You will receive a Return Authorization Number needed for acceptance.
  3. Ship items back within 14 business days of receiving your RA#.
  4. Returns sent without a Return Authorization Number will not be accepted.
  5. MUMS does not provide free return shipping. Use a carrier that provides tracking.

Refunds:

  • After receiving and inspecting your return, you’ll be notified within 2 business days of the refund approval/denial. We take photos/videos upon receipt to verify the condition of the garment(s).
  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Processing time for banks or credit card companies may vary.
  • If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, contact your financial institution.

Damages and Issues:

  • Inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 48 hours if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect.
  • After 48 hours, nut within 14 days, issues will be handled on a case-by-case basis. We do not accept Damage/defective issues after 14 days of purchase. We also do not accept an item once it has been laundered, as there is no way to verify the manner it was laundered.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Postpartum goods (lotions, creams, underwear, postpartum products), custom products (special orders, personalized items), and personal care items (hair accessories, lotions, creams, sprays, beauty products) are non-returnable.
  • Discounted, sale items, and gift cards are also non-returnable.

Exchanges:

  • To get a new item, return the original item and make a separate purchase. Returned items can take up to 2 days to go back into store inventory.
  • If you miss the 14-day refund window, store credit will be offered (15-21 days post-delivery/purchase).

Refunds for In-Person Purchases:

  • Return within 14 days for a full refund.
  • Returns made 15-21 days after purchase will receive store credit.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method, except PayPal, which will be issued as store credit.
  • Gifted items will be returned as store credit only if notified that you did not pay for them. Otherwise the purchaser's method of payment is refunded.

Refunds for Online Purchases:

  • Return eligibility is the same as in-person purchases.
  • Contact info@mumsmaternity.ca to start the return process.
  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
  • MUMS is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged returns. Use a carrier with tracking.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method, except PayPal (store credit only).

Defective Items:

  • Inspect items upon receipt. Report defects within 48 hours.
  • Defects reported after 48 hours but within 14 days will be assessed individually. Exchanges or discounts are not available after 14 days.

Final Sale Items:

  • Items on sale, marked down, or discounted, including BOGO offers, are final sale.
  • For hygienic reasons, swimwear, underwear, pantyhose, postpartum care, self-care items, and hair accessories are final sale.
  • Consignment items are also final sale. Contact the business directly for their return policy.

Policy Changes:

  • This policy is subject to change without prior notice.

 

MUMS has the right to refuse any returns that do not meet above guidelines.
