           MUMS Return Policy                      

While we strive to be friendly and accommodating, we kindly ask our customers to understand that setting firm boundaries is necessary to maintain fairness and consistency in our policies.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in this matter.

Prior to checking out, Carefully read through our return policy in its entirety.


Ensure that you set yourself up for an easy return:

  1. No final sale item(s).
  2. When trying on, avoid strong odours, pet hair, or removing tags before deciding to keep.
  3. Keep stain-free: No deodorant, makeup, food, lotions, self-tanner, etc.
  4. Timing - Look your item over & try it on within 48h of receiving it. If there is a defect you will notice it early.
  5. Be aware of the return grace period: 14 days for Refund, 15-21 for store credit. We don't want you to be disappointed if you miss the cut-off date.

We are a small Boutique, our policies may not look like the multi-million & billion dollar businesses, but we make up for it in so many other ways!

The Item doesn't fit/suit the way I had hoped.  What Do I do?

 We understand that despite having photos & sizing charts, sometimes things just don't fit or look the way we had hoped.

MUMS gladly accepts unworn, regular priced, merchandise in the original condition within 14 days from the date your purchase/delivery (for full Refund).

The item(s) you want to return must be in new condition that we are able to re-sell.  Therefore, we can not accept items with rips, stains, pulls, pet hair, strong odours, or removed tags.

 

What items are final sale?

Any item that is: on Sale, Marked Down, or Discounted - Including BOGO.

Also, for hygienic Reasons:
Swim suits, Underwear, Pantyhose, Postpartum Care, Self-Care, & Hair accessories.

Any item that is in the store via consignment is also final sale with MUMS, however you may reach out to the business directly for their return policy.

Purchases made in the BOUTIQUE / LOCAL PICKUP

Ensure item eligibility for return. 
✅ my item was regular price (no discount, offer or deals were used during the purchase)
✅ 100% in brand new condition. (While trying items on, avoid strong odours, pet hair, or removing tags before deciding. Keep them stain-free: No deodorant, makeup, food, lotions, self-tanner, etc). 

🟢Refunds will only be issued to purchases meeting all the above requirements. 
 

Timeline 

Return must take place within 14 days of purchase for a full refund to original payment method. 
Returns made 15-21 days after purchase will be issued Store Credit

Refunds will be issued in the method of payment - with the exception of PAYPAL which will always be issued in store credit. 

Gifted items will be returned to a store credit, ONLY, if you make us aware that you did not pay for the item(s). Otherwise, (without a manual override, the refund automatically goes to the purchaser's method of payment).

ONLINE PURCHASES:

 How will I receive my refund?

Refund via payment method if all our return eligibility conditions are met. 
**with the exception of Paypal - which is STORE CREDIT only*

Gifted items will be returned to a store credit, ONLY, if you make us aware that you did not pay for the item(s). Otherwise, the refund goes to the purchaser's method of payment. 

***For an online Return:  The Customer must first contact us at info@mumsmaternity.ca***

- Please send us your name, order number and item(s) and reason for return.
  We will provide you an authorization # and the address to ship your item(s) to. 

* The customer is responsible for shipping cost of items to be returned.

* We are not responsible for lost/stolen/damaged shipment being returned to us.  We recommend using a carrier that provides tracking. 

 We understand that despite having sizing charts, sometimes things just don't fit or look the way we had hoped. MUMS gladly accepts unworn, regular priced, merchandise in the original condition within 14 days from the date your package was delivered. No rips, stains, pulls, pet hair, or strong odours. The tags must also be attached. 

  • Items returned to us within the 14 day grace period, will be Refunded.
  • Items returned after 15-21 days of delivery will be issued store credit. 
  • No Refund or Store Credit will be issued for returns after 21 days. 

- it is important to note: We issue a Return, Store credit (or exchange) only on  regular priced products.

If you purchased a sale item or used a discount code or offer, the item is not eligible for Return.

- Again, Please note, original shipping charges are non-refundable.

 

    Uh-oh my item has a defect- What do I do now?  

Defective Item Policy:

At MUMS, we strive to provide our customers with high-quality products. However, we understand that sometimes defects can occur. If you receive a defective item, please follow our policy below:

Inspection of Items

We encourage all customers to thoroughly inspect their items upon receipt. This will help identify any defects or issues early on, allowing for a smoother resolution process. If you notice any defects, please contact us as soon as possible.

Reporting Defective Items

If you discover a defect in your purchase, it is important to report it to MUMS within 48 hours of receiving the item. This will allow us to promptly address the issue and provide you with a suitable solution.

In situations where the defect is reported outside of the initial 48-hour window but within our 14-day grace period, we will assess each case individually. While we cannot guarantee a refund, exchange or discount in these instances, we will carefully consider the circumstances and work towards a fair resolution.

Exchanges and Discounts

After the 14-day grace period, we are unable to offer exchanges or discounts for defective items. It is essential to report any defects within the specified time frame to ensure eligibility for potential solutions.
